Delivering The Right Skills Strategy

Queensland’s progress, prosperity and wellbeing rely on having the right skills in the right place at the right time.

The Right Skills Strategy focuses on building Queensland’s skilled workforce to support a strong and diverse economy.

We are investing more than $5 billion over 4 years to strengthen Queensland’s training sector.

We are focused on improving availability and access to the skills industries and regions need to grow and thrive.

The Right Skills Strategy is Queensland's plan to deliver on the National Skills Agreement. We will work with the Australian Government to build stronger partnerships and achieve lasting skills reform.

Each year, we will release an annual plan outlining how we will deliver on the longer-term objectives of The Right Skills Strategy. Read the Training Priorities Plan 2025-2026.
